CODE OF CONDUCT FOR
HAHNENKAMM CHALET
Located in Thredbo, in the picturesque snowy mountains of Australia, our inclusive ski lodge is a welcoming retreat for all. To ensure the comfort, safety, and enjoyment of every guest, we ask all visitors to uphold the following guidelines:
Respect

Welcoming Atmosphere: All guests must respect others who are staying at the lodge.

Noise Levels: While lively conversations and activities are encouraged, please be mindful of noise and take into account the comfort of other guests.

Upstairs Lounge area: Please keep the upstairs lounge area quiet from 9.00pm to 7.00am.

Children are not to use the following areas of the Lodge without direct supervision:

Upstairs lounge area;

Sauna and spa area.

In using those areas, consideration is to be given to the noise level or other inconvenience to other guests, particularly those occupying adjacent bedrooms.
General Conduct

Respect for Others: Treat all guests, staff, and fellow lodge members with courtesy and consideration. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.

Shared Spaces: Keep communal areas clean and tidy. Dispose of rubbish appropriately in designated areas and return shared items (e.g., board games, kitchen utensils) after use.
Health and Safety

Health Precautions: For the wellbeing of all guests, please refrain from attending the lodge if you are experiencing cough, flu-like symptoms, or any contagious illness. Should you become unwell whilst staying at the lodge, please respect your fellow guests and refrain from being in open areas.

Children's Safety: Parents or guardians are responsible for the supervision and safety of their children at all times.
Environmental Responsibility

Sustainability: Help us preserve the beauty of the snowy mountains by minimising waste, conserving energy, and participating in recycling initiatives.
Compliance with Lodge Policies

No Smoking or Vaping: Our lodge is a smoke-free zone to ensure the health and comfort of all guests.

Alcohol Consumption: Drink responsibly and ensure alcohol use does not disrupt other guests.
Spa Area Code of Conduct

Quiet and Relaxing Environment: The spa area is intended for relaxation. Please speak in hushed tones and avoid loud activities.

Cleanliness: Guests must shower before using spa facilities and wear appropriate swimwear or robes.

Respect for Others: Be considerate of other guests enjoying the spa and avoid disruptive behavior.

Children in the Spa Area: Children under 13 must be supervised by an adult at all times.

Health Advisory: Guests with medical conditions (e.g., heart issues, pregnancy) should consult their doctor before using the spa facilities
Lodge Tidiness – Winter and Summer

Lodge Tidiness in Winter: Whilst meals are provided and common areas are cleaned by the lodge managers through winter, please show respect towards the managers and fellow guests by cleaning up after yourself in common areas.

Lodge Tidiness in Summer: During the summer months, it is the responsibility of members to ensure that the lodge is kept tidy. Members are also expected to ensure their guests uphold the same standard of cleanliness and respect for the property.
Consequences of Non-Compliance
Failure to adhere to this code of conduct may result in warnings or, in extreme cases, being asked to leave the lodge without a refund.
